Balda Medical is a contract manufacturer that offers the design, development and cleanroom mass production of customized plastic systems such as complete medical handheld devices as well as diagnostic consumable products. Based on its proven background in engineering and manufacturing of demanding plastic solutions, it has vast experience designing and manufacturing high volume consumables for PCR and immunochemistry analyzing systems (e.g. cuvettes, reaction cups, pipettes tips, wells, etc.), Point-of-Care and Diabetes Care products (e.g. test-cartridges, lap on chip devices, glucose meters, lancing devices, pen and injection systems etc.) as well as Drug Delivery devices e.g. solid and liquid dispensing systems.

One of the key challenges associated with high-volume and low-cost consumable products is the maintenance of constant quality and compliance. Our customer specific products meet highest standards as regards to precision, the necessary surface quality, raw material purity and absolute cleanliness. The used resins enable the modification of characteristics of consumables such as electrical conductivity or optical transmission. We produce consumables in annual quantities of more than 500 million pieces per year on highly automated production lines.
